Welcome to LexGo (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the LexGo mobile application, website, and related learning services. By downloading, accessing, or using LexGo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the application.
1. License & Intellectual Property
Subject to these Terms, LexGo grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the application solely for personal, non-commercial educational study.
All vocabulary databases, curated definitions, Hindi mnemonics, example sentences, previous-year question sets (PYQs), crosswords, illustrations, graphic marks, and underlying software code are the exclusive intellectual property of LexGo and its licensors. You agree not to copy, reproduce, scrape, decompile, reverse-engineer, distribute, or create derivative works from any portion of the service without explicit prior written authorization.
2. In-App Purchases, Billing & Rewards
A. Billing: Upgrades (such as LexGo Pro) are processed exclusively through Google Play In-App Billing. We never collect or store your payment card details, bank information, or UPI credentials.
B. Subscriptions & Cancellations: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the conclusion of the active billing period. You may manage or cancel subscriptions at any time via Google Play Store → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions.
C. Refunds: Refund requests are evaluated and processed strictly in accordance with Google Play's standard refund policies.
D. Virtual Challenge Points & Freezes: In-app Streak Freezes, XP points, and promotional access unlocked via Challenge Points represent virtual rewards with no real-world monetary value, are non-transferable, and expire as described in the app.
3. Fair Use & Community Standards
You agree to use LexGo responsibly and in compliance with all relevant laws. You specifically agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass license checks, security safeguards, or premium feature access controls.
- Use automated bots, web scrapers, or scripts to extract vocabulary content or quiz items.
- Manipulate or exploit rewarded video ad systems or streak mechanisms.
- Engage in any action that impairs or overburdens our server infrastructure.
Violations of fair use may lead to immediate termination or suspension of access.
4. Educational Disclaimer
LexGo is designed as a study companion and self-preparation tool for competitive examinations (including SSC, Banking, UPSC, CAT, and state exams). While we strive for absolute accuracy in our definitions, mnemonics, and PYQ answers, we do not warrant or guarantee specific test scores, exam cutoffs, or employment outcomes. The application is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, LexGo, its authors, and contributors shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the application.
